SCS DTGD cards

These cards were made for the SCS Dare To Get Dirty 2013 Challenges.  Sorry I can't share the themes as they are for Fan Club "eyes only" but I hope you like my cards.

The butterfly and dragonfly were stamped using the "wrong" side of the acrylic stamp first and then stamping the "right" side of the stamp for the detail.  So cool!

Brayered on embossing folder before running through Cuttlebug to make this background.  Main image is from Graphic 45.
SU's Equestrian Dreams are the main images on this Western card.

Love the expression on this dog's face!

Swappin' Bears

Here is the bear card I made.  I love puns, corny though they are!  Had to create this one on the computer for my Panda card.  Used Paisley Cricut image and background paper from Graphic 45.  These were a lot of fun to make.

For Bear Card Candy, I used cuddly bear by PSX and some Button Bear accessories.  Ranger Glossy Accents makes the honey look good enough to eat!

Chose a Paisley Cricut image and a handmade flower for my Koala Bear Tag.  My husband did not miss out on informing me that koalas are not really bears, they are marsupials.  I chose to ignore this piece of trivia as they came out so darn cute!

Monkeys, Monkeys Everywhere!

Joined a Splitcoast Monkey and Bear swap before I realized I didn't have any monkeys.  So, I had to do a little shopping - after purchasing a monkey punch, a monkey stamp set and a monkey image from Cricut, I was good to go.

This was my first shot at "card candy", which is a collection of several coordinated stamped images and embellishments that can be used on cards, tags, gifts, etc.  I used my new stamp set from InkyAntics and some monkey-colored Copic markers.  Love how they turned out.

The second item I'm swapping is a Monkey Tag.  For this tag, I used my new monkey punch from McGill and a free downloaded palm tree image from Cricut Craft Room.  I like using patterned paper for my die cuts to add a little somethin' extra.

I think my favorite is the Monkey Spinner Card I made.  The monkey is a Cricut image from the Paisley cart.  Had to show you the spin.  What do you think?

Blingy Bridal Shower

This card was made for the daughter of a friend for her bridal shower. She can't possibly be old enough to be getting married, can she?  Love how the glitter looks on this dress. Real Swarovsky crystals, too.  Very elegant.

Welcome to My Crafty Blog!

Hi all!  So excited to be starting my very own blog and just in time for Splitcoast's Dare to Get Dirty challenge week. Here is a tag I made for UnderstandBlue's and MakiJ's cool challenges.  Finished size of the tag is 6" x 3 1/2" and feature two Stampin' Up sets - Papa's Pocket and Collage Alphabet and some awesome ribbon.  Feel free to leave me a comment.
